Established in 2001, Bliss House is a 12-bed facility for women addicted to drugs and or alcohol. The program at Bliss House, which utilizes a 12-Step approach to recovery, is open to women in several Indiana counties and is the only halfway house in Southern Indiana with this focus. The average length of stay to graduate from the program is 7 months. The physical, emotional and social benefits to the women who succeed with the program are obvious, but there’s also a monetary benefit to individual counties, as these women are provided treatment that’s needed instead of incurring expenses associated with incarceration.

  • “Stepping Stones To Recovery” is for adults ages 18 and older, and provides 24-hour nursing care for detox in a locked, secure setting. The basic function of treatment is to provide the environment for the chemically dependent person to begin the process of personal growth free from chemicals.
  • Inpatient Detox is a short term treatment program designed to detoxify the adult’s physical body, and provide the opportunity to get on the path to lifelong sobriety. This is the first step towards giving an adult the means of maintaining sobriety and preventing relapse.
  • Our five-week addiction intensive outpatient program treats adults 18 and over, and adults in need of various levels of clinical care, but without the restrictions and structure of an inpatient setting. There is very little interruption of one's family and existing social supports. There are group therapy sessions and a family education session each week.
